What A Productive Day

Hi, there!

It's been a productive day for me. I got no internship, and now I'm at home doing nothing. Browsing through internet, The Sims 3, Social Medias, Movies, Dramas, Sleep late and woke up late.
About my final project proposal? Chapter 1 done. Hopefully it's really done. Chapter 2 next, I need to find a bunch of books as a based for my theories. And I can't find even one proper library here. I'm so desperate.

Okay, so today I've been renewing my old portfolio and making one-hopefully nice-layout as a portfolio to my next application in the next semester. It got me probably 3-4 hours to made it. I hope I'll got a really nice work area soon.

And, I found a website which is could compress your huge PDF files! Since I'm a graphic designer and all my project mostly done in big memories, then I have to pile 'em up to one PDF as final portfolio, it came up to a really huge memories PDF. Also, the nice part, it was designed in flat vector, coral red colour (which is my favorite one), and responsive. Nice Nice Nice! Actually my dear friend, told me about it. THANKS Josephine! You saved my life :)

Here it is --> Magic Compressor

Below are the benefits using smallpdf.com (now I sound like promoting them)

You can use it as a:

since my laptop can't merge PDFs files, so this is really helping me out through! So, guys if you have some problems either your microsoft files, jpgs, pdfs, just remember to type this to your browser :)

Enough for now :) Thankyou for having me!

Photoshop Tutorial - Using Path Tool to remove background :)

Hi!

This is an unusual post, right? Tutorial post is a very tiring post, I guess. But, as a Graphic Designer, I must be give a slightly useful post at least once or twice in my blog. It's because it's hard to find a helpful post about the PATH TOOL CROP thing in internet. So, let me help you then!

This is very useful for anyone of you to layouting the magazine, especially when it has to add some transparent background images :) Thanks to my lecturer for this!

Hope it helps you out, fellow graphic designers!

Maybe I'm Dreaming

Life's good lately.

Holidays, trips, foods, movies. It's great how God put it all in a perfect way, in a perfect time.
Being a last year college student is either happy or sad. It's happy because I realized that finally, I've
made it till the end. Those hardworks, gold diggings, dog days, loser times, bad memories, heart
breaks, and so on are about to come to their ends. God put me through all difficult times, He's stand
tall beside me, pushing my back to keep moving forward and whisper "move on, without hesitates."

Despite that, I'm so clear that I have to leave my all lovely friends. Too much memories to remember, too much journeys to write on my journal, too much argues to write on my diaries. Good lecturers, bad lecturers, that guy I stumbled upon but never making a nice move, and so do I, and I'm so hard to get over it. I missed my friend's car, I missed our spontaneous trips, I missed how they always asked me to caption their photos, I missed wasting time at public transportation, talks non sense topics, a not classy conversations.

Life must go on. And I feel so stuck. Know why? No. Is it me who didn't feel thankful enough? I don't know though. One day I feel so lost, another day feel motivated, and another day feel extremely dull and nothing.

Till then.

*I'm still struggling looking for a place for my internship program.

[EVENT REPORT] Action With Mangrove II x MapalaUMN

Hi!

26th April 2015.
MapalaUMN (Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Universitas Multimedia Nusantara) held Action With Mangrove II at Pulau Karya, Kepulauan Seribu. With 3 hours long trip from the land, finally we (200 participants more less) arrived there. Well, I thank God for the very good weather and clear skies. Tho it's extremely hot, who choose raining all day long? I will definitely say NO!
The schedule divide in 3 sessions.

1. Cleaning up the shore

This where we have to cleaning up the sea shore which is the local residents throw their waste here. Umm, do they have to? Is there any better place out of the shore?

2. Mangrove Plantation!

Before, the committee told us the instructions how to plant a mangrove. It has to be plant with the polybag, plant it under the mud that we already hoed about 1x1meter (square), then it has to be side by side. After that, we have to make sure that the water cover it around 25cms. It's really a great experience for me!

Mangroves are important to help prevent shore and beaches from abration. Also, Mangroves live for the home of dozens little animals. Such as fishes and shrimps.

3. Baby Sea Turtle's Release

Me and another 11 friends is the lucky one to having this experience. Ka Dhiti-Miss Bahari- also told us the instructions how to release the baby turtles. First, you need to pick up the baby on its side. And, you have to turn their face NOT towards the sea.

Well, this is the end of my trip with MAPALAUMN x ACTION WITH MANGROVE II :) I hope that I will have another great chances like this in the future! If you say you love beaches, then, what's your action to taking care of them? Don't just say you love it, but take action to keep it alive.

Bye!

bukankah, memang sepatutnya
kita harus tahu diri?
Atau lebih tepatnya,
menahan diri?
